Pale Waves are a four-piece indie pop band from Manchester made up of Heather Baron-Gracie, Ciara Doran, Hugo Silvani & Charlie Wood. They released their second album 'Who Am I' in February 2021.
If Pale Waves’ first album, My Mind Makes Noises, was a coming of age record, their second, Who Am I? is about coming out the other side. 25-year old frontwoman Heather Baron-Gracie’s songwriting holds the last few years of her life up to the light, reflecting on her own growing pains – depression, distraction, and feelings of darkness – but also her experience of falling in love, emerging with a clarity and optimism. “For me, music and art exists for people not to feel so alone and isolated,” she explains. “I want to be that person my fans look up to and find comfort in.”
This will be Pale Waves 4th appearance at The Rave, twice opening for The 1975.
