I've only been here since February 08, and I've already seen alot of changes. Plus, many changes have been made in the last year. If you haven't been here in awhile, stop by and check it out.
In The Rave, there's a new soundsystem, remodeled restrooms with nice swanky fixtures, and a new bar along the stage right wall. The stage left wall that leads to the exits has been totally ripped down and a bunch of doors have been added so it's easier to get in and out. As part of the new sound system, the speakers are all now hung in the air so the views are much better.
The Rave Bar just got a huge transformation. The stage has been expanded, and the area that used to be a dressing room has been torn down so you can actually see the band perform if you're sitting down on the far end of the bar.
The Eagles Hall (you may know it as the basement) just received a fresh coat of paint, plus the restrooms down there have been remodeled too. It looks really sharp. One of the guys from Circa Survive that was just here with Thrice said it was his favorite place he's ever played.
Have you seen The Vibe Room? It's opposite The Rave Bar. There's a nice stage and bar and plenty of seating for pre-shows, or for just hanging out during a Rave show.
There's a brand NEW room too that maybe you haven't seen, the RockStar Lounge. It's on the second floor, which is the Rave balcony level or the level between the Rave and the Eagles Ballroom. The RockStar Lounge is primarily set up as a smoking area with plenty of tables, a full bar, and good ventilation. But there's also plenty of room for a good size stage whenever needed. It's open most show nights. If you need to get away and have a drink or smoke with friends, and you're of legal age to do either, check out the RockStar Lounge.
I'm hoping to get some time to take my video camera around the place so you can really see the changes.
